Mimix launches Gaas MMIC high-power amplifier
A Mimix Broadband product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Mar 3, 2009
Mimix Broadband has introduced a Gaas MMIC high-power amplifier (HPA) with +37dBm pulsed saturated output power and 22dB large signal gain.
The HPA, designated XP1073-BD, covers 34-37 GHz and achieves 24 per cent power-added efficiency (PAE).
The device is well-suited for millimetre-wave military, radar, satellite and weather applications.
Mimix performs 100 per cent RF testing on the XP1073-BD.
Samples and production quantities are available in eight weeks.
Technical support is also available from Mimix's applications engineers.
