Either way up for easy-mount touchscreens
The Mitsubishi E610 and E615 graphic touchscreen HMIs have a graphical 5.7in touch panel with a pixel resolution of 320 x 240.
The Mitsubishi E610 and E615 graphic touchscreen HMIs have a graphical 5.7in touch panel with a pixel resolution of 320 x 240.
Each unit has the ability to be mounted in either landscape or portrait formats.
This added flexibility offers users the greatest options to use the panel space occupied by the units or the most convenient method of displaying the user data, as user screen designs can also be created in either format.
Added flexibility can also be found with the new mounting method introduced with the E610/615 terminals.
Traditionally a combination of panel cutout and location/mounting holes have been used by HMI manufacturers.
These new units offer a simpler design which replaces the location and mounting holes with two mounting rails which 'clip' to the sides of the E terminals.
Mounting and installing the unit becomes much easier as there is no need for any additional screw holes.
Improved PLC connectivity is another new benefit offered by the E610/615 terminals.
The units have a built-in RS485 port in addition to the RS232 and the RS422 port of other E series terminals.
Combine this with the expansion slot for optional Ethernet and web functionality and these units offer really outstanding performance in their field.
Both units are easily programmed with E-Designer; the new improved programming software for the E-Series of HMIs.
