The solution is ideal for embedded applications such as physical access devices, home alarm systems, garage door openers, security safes, remote controls and a wide variety of other devices.

The TCS4 TouchStrip fingerprint sensor is an extension of the award-winning TouchStrip fingerprint sensor product line, which is integrated into major PC notebooks, flash drives, and hard disk drives.

It leverages the HD3D sensing technology that senses the live layer of a finger, delivering high biometric performance which translates into the highest level of security and ease of use.

The TCD50 digital ID hardware engine performs all biometric processes in a secure hardware environment.

It is power efficient and fast which allows an excellent usability.

The system can store up to 15 prints and respond in less than 0.75s from finger lift-off, making it perfect for all applications requiring physical or logical identification.

Furthermore it can support up to 50 fingerprints with additional fingerprint data stored on host with response time less than 2s from lift-off.

The sensor supports fast swipe speed of up to 400mm/s.
