Users group conference calls for papers
Mentor Graphics is calling for papers for its 21st international users group conference, User2User 2005
Users of Mentor Graphics software are invited to submit abstracts sharing their best practices, success stories and lessons learned. The submission deadline is 29th October 2004. Early submissions received by 8th October 2004 will be eligible to receive one of three prizes sponsored by Hewlett Packard.

Selected users will present their accepted submissions at the User2User 2005 conference from 27th to 29th April 2005, at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel, in Santa Clara, California.
This year, a best paper award of US $1000 will be given for each conference track.
In addition to the technical presentations selected from the abstracts submitted, the conference will feature presentations by Mentor Graphics.
Submission forms are available from the Mentor Graphics website.
"Last year more than 200 abstracts were submitted by Mentor Graphics users for User2User 2004", said Tom Floodeen, Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Customer Support, and User2User Conference Sponsor, Mentor Graphics.
"We look forward to continuing the tradition of Mentor's user conference this year as we gather the paper proposals for the 2005 event".
The International Mentor Graphics Users' Group was formed in 1983 to provide users of Mentor Graphics products and/or services with a forum to exchange information.
The User2User conference offers delegates an interactive, in-depth technical forum while encouraging the exchange of immediately useful knowledge between other Mentor Graphics users, technical leaders and partners.
The format of the User2User conference is designed to provide customers with the opportunity both to learn from and to educate each other.
