The NAMC-EXT eases debugging of AMC modules by enabling the user to access the module under test from both sides

Worcester based Meikon has introduced a new AMC extender from NAT for testing and debugging AMC technology. Designed for next generation telecommunication boards in AMC (Advanced Mezzanine Card) form factor, the NAMC-EXT eases debugging of AMC modules by enabling the user to access the module under test from both sides.

The NAMC-EXT is a passive AMC extender module intended for use with an AMC slot on any ATCA, Micro TCA or other carrier board.

It supports all fabric connectors as specified by the AMC.x and the uTCA specifications.

For the purpose of voltage and current measurements the NAMC-EXT allows access to the respective power planes.

Meikon is the exclusive UK distributor for NAT, the German specialist in high performance connectivity products for data and communication solutions.
