 Meech Static Eliminators has launched the new, more powerful, Model 233v3 pulsed DC controller for ESD applications.
The 233v3 has been designed to power any of the company's 200 Series products and provides even greater functionality than its predecessor - but still at the same price.
New features include the option of steady-state DC (SSDC) output, providing tight balance in applications where air flow is required, and the provision for connection to ion balance sensor and feedback systems.
The extended balance adjustment enables operators to more finely tune the ion balance to suit the task in hand and the extended pulse rate/frequency range of 0.5-20Hz provides static bars with greater effective reach and therefore also allows for more flexibility in placement.
Secure control systems prevent inadvertent adjustment by operators after the unit has been installed and additional safety features include a built in alarm circuit, with auto shutdown if a fault is detected in the ionisation system, preventing serious damage to the system.
Provision for a remote alarm indicator and 24V supply, through the 8-way DIN connector, enables system installations to be monitored, and switched on and off, from remote locations, without the need for an additional external power supply.
