OpenEye will market digital signage software, projectors and Vikuiti Rear Projection displays by 3M from its recently established European centre in London.

The company will also leverage its international network to deliver round-the-clock support to customers in the UK, Ireland and continental Europe.

OpenEye has already demonstrated success in the USA, Australia and New Zealand utilising 3M Digital Signage software.

The company's approach has expanded market opportunities for feature-rich, enterprise digital networks that enable companies to communicate more effectively with customers, prospects and employees.

The founders of OpenEye have worked with 3M Digital Signage since the late 1990s and were one of the first customers to apply the software to unlock powerful strategic benefits for customers.

Key 3M Digital Signage software capabilities include linking promotions with real-time demographic information, mixing brand and promotional messages with live news feeds, and controlling and scheduling individually optimised content for hundreds of locations from a central point.

3M Digital Signage Software can be combined with Vikuiti rear projection displays and digital projectors to solve many of the challenges facing designers of commercial display systems.

Slim and lightweight Vikuiti rear projection screens can be installed in almost any location, without a bulky or expensive fixture, to present bright, clear images including video, graphics and text.

Vikuiti rear projection film can be attached to any window or glass panel and can be produced in a practically limitless range of shapes and sizes to enable creative and eye-catching delivery of digital content.

The total cost of ownership for Vikuiti rear projection film can be similar to more traditional media such as posters, while at the same time delivering the added advantages of moving images and bright, dynamic content.

Enhanced visual performance in high ambient light environments, compared with other electronic display technologies makes Vikuiti rear projection film particularly suited to window displays.

Using the 3M portfolio, OpenEye has gained recognition around the world as the creator of unique and advanced solutions, and was a winner of an international Digi Award in 2005, for its work with International duty free retailer The Nuance Group, which trades in New Zealand under the brand Regency Duty Free.
