McObject, the developer of the eXtremeDB in-memory embedded database for real-time applications and intelligent devices, has launched a German-language website, to better serve the growing German embedded systems industry. The new site at www.mcobject.de posts the latest information on McObject and eXtremeDB, as well as market-specific content such as links to German articles and customers. McObject's new site underscores the company's growing emphasis on serving German-speaking technologists, a commitment demonstrated earlier this year when the company exhibited at the Embedded World 2005 Conference and Exhibition in Nuremburg.
McObject chose to launch a major new product - the eXtremeSQL interface for eXtremeDB - at that event.
'German-speaking countries are home to many of the world's great industrial concerns'.
'Demand for the most advanced embedded systems software is growing as computerised products and manufacturing processes become more deeply intelligent', said Steve Graves, McObject CEO and cofounder.
'We are pleased to offer our web-based information auf Deutsch to programmers, journalists and others with an interest in McObject and eXtremeDB'.
This spring, McObject also boosted its Russian market presence by adding a Russian language website, at www.mcobject.ru, and a new distributor, Moscow-based SySoft.
Since 2004, SySoft has provided development and training services for eXtremeDB licensees.
Under the new agreement, SySoft adds marketing and sales of McObject software to its solution provider responsibilities, becoming McObject's key business partner in Russian-speaking lands.
Among other projects, SySoft recently added Unicode support to eXtremeDB for a major Japanese consumer electronics company, enabling the customer to meet its aggressive development schedule for a new eXtremeDB -based personal MP3 player.
In addition to McObject projects, SySoft has built a successful embedded systems consultancy, providing board support package (BSP) development, software porting and customisation, hardware modelling and prototyping, firmware development and other services to a client roster that includes major European and Silicon Valley technology companies.
