MCE Newmarket has launched a new range of semicustom solid-state switches designed to fill the gap between off-the-shelf components and fully customised designs Although a wide range of off-the-shelf solid-state switches is available, there is rarely one which precisely matches the requirements of a particular application
Custom-made switches, however, are frequently too expensive to be an option.
MCE has been working to address this market by providing semicustom switches for handling kilowatt-level powers at up to 600V.
