Maxim introduces high-speed crossbar
switches
Maxim Integrated Products introduces the Max9132, Max9134 and Max9135 high-speed, multiport LVDS crossbar switches.
These switches route multiple sources such as navigation, camera, satellite TV and DVD signals to multiple displays, thus reducing the number of point-to-point links They provide programmable output pre-emphasis to improve signal integrity at the load and accommodate longer cables than those that can typically be driven by similar switches

Maxim introduces VHF/UHF data transmitter
Maxim Integrated Products has introduced the MAX7057 crystal-referenced, phased-locked loop (PLL) VHF/UHF transmitter for transmitting OOK/ASK/FSK data over a wide range of frequencies.
Designed for transmitting high-speed digital video in automotive applications, the devices are also suited for a wide range of digital video distribution and routing applications.
The Max9132, Max9134 and Max9135 support data rates up to 840Mbps at each port.
The Max9132 features three input ports and two output ports.
The Max9134 has three input ports and four output ports.
The Max9135 has four input ports and three output ports.
All ports are rated up to +/-25kV ESD for the ISO Air Discharge Model, +/-15kV ESD for the IEC Air Discharge Model and +/-10kV ESD for the Contact Discharge Model.
The Max9132, Max9134 and Max9135 allow any input to be connected to any output, or to all outputs to broadcast the video image to all displays.
Switch routing is programmable through pins or an LIN-/I2C-compatible serial interface to ease integration into the automotive bus architecture.
The outputs can also be three stated to support multiple switches in parallel.
The Max9132, Max9134 and Max9135 operate from a 3.3V supply and are fully specified over the -40C to 105C operating temperature range.
The Max9132 is available in a 20-pin TSSOP, while the Max9134 and Max9135 are packaged in a 24-pin TQFP.
