High-speed single and dual MOSFET drivers are ideal for use in power MOSFET switching, motor control and ultracompact high-frequency switching power supplies.

Available now from Maxim Integrated Products, the MAX15024 and MAX15025 are high-speed single and dual MOSFET drivers in thermally enhanced 3 x 3mm TDFN packages The MAX15024 is a single gate driver capable of sinking up to 8A and sourcing up to 4A of peak current

The MAX15025 is a dual gate driver capable of sinking and sourcing up to 4A of peak current.

Both devices have propagation-delay matching of typically 2ns between channels, and usually less than 17ns from part to part.

An integrated adjustable LDO provides gate-driver amplitude control and optimisation.

The MAX15024 and MAX15025 are ideal for use in power MOSFET switching, motor control and ultracompact high-frequency switching power supplies.

The MAX15024 and MAX15025 operate from a 4.5 to 28V supply voltage and can withstand transients up to 30V.

Moreover, the inverting and noninverting logic inputs are designed to operate at up to 22V, regardless of the supply voltage.

The devices include a logic circuit to prevent internal shoot-through current during output-state change.

They are available with either CMOS or TTL logic-level inputs.

The MAX15024 and MAX15025 are fully specified over the -40 to +125C automotive temperature range.

They are available in 3 x 3mm 10-pin TDFN packages with exposed pads that are capable of dissipating up to 2W at +70C ambient temperature.

Prices start at US $1.01 (1000-up).
