The MAX5547 is a 10bit SPI dual current-sink digital-to-analogue convertor.
Maxim Integrated Products has released the MAX5547, a 10bit SPI dual current-sink digital-to-analogue convertor (DAC) This device integrates a precision 4ppm/C bandgap reference, operates from a single +2.7 to +5.25V supply, and fits in a tiny 3 x 3mm, 8-pin TDFN package
The MAX5547 is also highly accurate (+/-4LSB at 1.2mA), and guaranteed monotonic over the extended operating temperature range (-40 to +85C).
The current-sink operation of this DAC makes it ideal for laser-driver control applications.
The MAX5547 settles to within 1LSB of full scale in typically 10us.
The full-scale output sink-current range is software selectable from 0-1.2 or 0-3.6mA, and is independent for each DAC.
Pricing for the MAX5547 starts at $3.19 (1000-up, FOB USA).
