Exhibitors have reported a high level of business as a result of the Radio Solutions Show held last October. Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) secured a full radio compliance and partial EMC testing contract for Gent's keyfob operated Simple Set Reader at Radio Solutions 2001and has won repeat business of the next generation product Logic Six Intruder Panel as a result of re-establishing contact at Radio Solutions 2002. Mike Partridge of RFI commented, "Gent were especially pleased with the high level of service, flexibility and quick turnaround that RFI offered them.

This is the main reason why they came back to us again at Radio Solutions 2002".

Mike Knights of Pacscom, supplier of cableless communications said, "We attended the Radio Solutions Show and met a number of interested clients.

As a direct result of these contacts, one is trialling the brand new Pacsnet 2000 with a view to standardising on this for simple low cost point to point links in his business".

Mike Brookes of the LPRA commented, "I am delighted that so many of our exhibitors have reported business success as a result of Radio Solutions.

The current economic climate has taken a heavy toll on exhibitions and seminars and stories such as these reinforce the LPRA's confidence.

We are constantly looking at ways to improve what we offer both exhibitors and visitors.

This year we featured radar applications of short range devices, including ground probing radar - a vital tool in landmine clearance and in buried pipe/cable detection - and the future motor car in which radar will be used to avoid collision accidents.

These point the way in which the use of low power radio devices is expanding into new and expanding markets".
