NTL selects Livingston

NTL, the UK's leading broadband company, has chosen Livingston to be its primary supplier of specific test equipment.

NTL, the UK's leading broadband company, has chosen Livingston to be its primary supplier of specific test equipment. UK-based Livingston will help NTL streamline its test equipment inventory. The contract enables NTL to meet its demanding test equipment needs by channelling its requirements through one independent supplier.

Under the agreement Livingston will manage NTL's test equipment procurement programme, which will draw on Livingston's strong manufacturer relationships.

The company will also provide rental services drawing on its own considerable European inventory, as well as other external sources.

Equipment disposal also falls under the agreement and Livingston will manage this through its equipment sales network, the largest in Europe.

"NTL's selection of Livingston further solidifies our expertise in helping companies with large inventories reduce their capital expenditure associated with test and measurement equipment", said Paul Whyman, Livingston's NTL Account Manager.
