The Ideal Industries Lantek range of handheld test products for the datacommunications market will be available to rent following an agreement with Livingston UK. The partnership enables end-users to meet their immediate needs for reliable network infrastructure testing without large capital outlay. Ideal's Lantek 7 and Lantek 6 cable testers enable test and certification of copper and fibre data networks covering all current Category 5e, Category 6 and future Category 7 applications.

Lantek 7 is the world's first cable tester fully compliant with the emerging Category 7/ISO F standards and the industry's only tester capable of certifying up to 750MHz.

Lantek 6 is fully compliant with Category 6/ISO E and has a frequency range up to 350MHz.

Lantek testers furthermore enable improved productivity, via a fast autotest time which is twice as fast as any other tester.
