New from Linear Technology is the LTC3426, a 2A, 6V, 1.2MHz step-up DC/DC convertor in a ThinSOT package Its wide 1.6 to 4.2V input voltage range enables the LTC3426 to operate from dual cell alkaline/NiMH/NiCd to single cell Li-ion batteries, delivering outputs up to 5.5V with efficiencies over 90%
