The Liantec ITX-6800 offers an advanced PC-based computing solution for industrial embedded x86 PC-based applications.

New from Liantec Systems Corp, the ITX-6800 is an embedded mini-ITX board based on Intel mobile Pentium M/Centrino platform.

With the features of Intel's mobile CPU technology, the Liantec ITX-6800 offers an advanced PC-based computing solution for industrial embedded x86 PC-based applications.

As well as all the features of an Intel mobile Pentium M platform, the Liantec ITX-6800 provides the integrated LVDS interface, onboard optional single/dual Gigabit Ethernet, bootable USB 2.0, and optional 1394 FireWire and SATA interfaces for value-added applications.

With these features, the Liantec ITX-6800 should be an ideal solution for POS/POI, kiosk, ATM, LCD PC, thin client, transaction and multimedia workstation, panel PC, car PC, book-size and slim-type PC, set-top-box and industrial computing applications.

To help meet this wide range of applications, the ITX-6800 offers the unique feature of AGP/DVO/PCI-based embedded board-to-board flexible expansion, and Liantec offers a range of standard modules including: DVO-based SDTV, HDTV and DVI for multimedia applications; PCI-based mini-PCI and PCMCIA for WLAN; multiple Ethernet and switch hub options for networking applications; video capture and MPEG for DVR, PVR and net-meeting applications; and other modules for custom ODM/OEM projects.

The ITX-6800 is based on the ultracompact mini-FlexATX/Mini-ITX form factor, measuring 170 x 170mm to meet demands for a compact and powerful computing platform.

Based on Intel's latest technology for mobile solutions, the Liantec ITX-6800 has an Intel Pentium M CPU with 400MHz FSB and 2Mbyte L2 advanced transfer cache.

For ultra-low-power/fan-free applications the ITX-6800 can also be ordered with Intel's new Celeron M 600MHz CPU consuming less than 10W.
