In a move designed to better support its southern European customer base, LiveDevices has established a direct sales and support office near Paris, France. Overseeing operations will be Olivier Casse, LiveDevices' recently appointed Sales Manager for Southern Europe. The opening of the office represents the company's first step in a process of direct expansion across continental Europe and builds on its existing European sales channels in Germany offered by AK Elektronik, the value added reseller of LiveDevices.
The decision to create a dedicated French office has been made in response to increasing market demand across Europe for products contained within LiveDevices' portfolio.
Under Casse's stewardship, the new location will offer LiveDevices' customers enhanced levels of direct product support, both pre- and post-purchase.
Support will primarily be offered across the company's two main product families - its market leading Realogy Real-Time Architect, an extremely reliable and efficient real-time operating system, and its embedded Internet connectivity solutions, Embedinet and Embediserve.
Casse, who has 15 years of experience in the embedded software industry, will be directly responsible for driving sales, providing support to LiveDevices' expanding customer base and developing strategic business ventures.
"We are delighted that Olivier has joined the LiveDevices' team.
He is extremely experienced and has a long and successful track record in our industry", comments Charlie Edgington, LiveDevices' Chief Executive Officer.
"Moreover, by providing customers with direct access to local representatives, we enjoy a two-fold benefit - offering customers greater access to our services, whilst at the same time allowing the company to built up long-term relationships with its key stakeholders", Edgington concludes.
"I'm looking forward to joining LiveDevices at this exciting time.
Crucially LiveDevices provide safe, reliable and cost effective software for new automotive applications.
Therefore, as the need for embedded software in this market explodes, the company will be ideally positioned to attack the Southern European market with vigour", adds Casse.
