A small fibre optic contact, the Lemo F7, has been developed for use in single, multi-fibre and hybrid ruggedised Lemo connectors, resulting in higher contact densities and significant space savings.

A new small fibre optic contact, the Lemo F7, has been developed for use in single, multi-fibre and hybrid ruggedised Lemo connectors, resulting in higher contact densities and significant space savings It is anticipated that it will be particularly suited for test and measurement, medical, broadcast and military applications where high performance, tough construction and reliability are essential Suitable for both singlemode and multimode requirements (9/125, 50/125 and 62.5/125 fibres) this contact employs ceramic ferrules and alignment sleeves for excellent performance and reliability
