Probe gets to grips
with TSOPII package leads
The Emulation Technology Quad-4 Clip features a spring probe design that ensures mechanically accurate, noninvasive contact with TSOPII package leads
New from Logic Technology, the Emulation Technology Quad-4 Clip is designed to clip over surface mounted TSOPII DDR SDRAMs in pin counts of 50, 54, 66 and 86 and lead pitches of 0.80 to 0.50mm. The Quad-4 Clip's spring probe (pogo pin) design ensures mechanically accurate, noninvasive contact with TSOPII package leads.

The clip enables users to access individual or multiple signals when used with a logic analyser, oscilloscope or other test equipment.
The Quad-4 Clip is ideal for users needing to develop, debug (hand test), program and test (qualification and production) devices.
The Quad-4 Clip is easily attached.
The clip's unique spring probe design promotes an accurate and secure connection, which snaps (piggybacks) onto the IC package.
As the clip is placed on the device (wire wrap posts probe points facing up), each package leg comes in direct contact with a spring probe, which will be spring-pressed atop the package leg for a secure electrical connection.
The clip bottom is secured over the device by two specially designed miniature side latches located on each end.
The user can regulate the clip's tightness by adjusting a miniature screw located on each side-latched end with the supplied Allen wrench.
Using the wire wrap posts, users connect the Quad-4 Clip to a logic analyser, oscilloscope, or other test equipment.
Off-the-shelf, semicustom and custom accessories can be added to assist in connecting the Quad-4 Clip to logic analysers, oscilloscopes or other test equipment.
