Matchport NR device servers offer OEM flexibility
Lantronix has added the Matchport NR to its Matchport family of device servers for applications including medical equipment, security, retail, manufacturing, building automation, metering and more.
Pin-for-pin and form-factor compatible with the Matchport wireless device server the Matchport NR allows customers to easily configure their products for wired or wireless connectivity with the swap of a module.
Matchport NR is a full-featured, secure, embedded, wired networking device server module.
Additional inputs and outputs enable Matchport NR to accommodate demanding application requirements.
Matchport NR enables OEMs to implement an Ethernet networking solution within their products.
With a simple connection between the device microcontroller's serial port and one of Matchport NR's two serial ports, it enables OEMs to create feature-rich applications while saving on design costs and enabling faster time-to-market.
Matchport NR is the fourth member of the Matchport product family of pin/form factor-compatible device networking platforms.
The Matchport family enables OEMs to future-proof their designs with the flexibility of delivering wired or wireless connectivity on the same board design with a choice of modules offering an array of price and performance options.
The family also includes Matchport b/g Pro (embedded device server with an advanced OS and web-server technologies that delivers Wi-Fi networking with high levels of security), Matchport AR (turnkey, application-ready programmable device server module with highly-secure Ethernet connectivity and advanced web server capabilities), and the Matchport b/g (full-featured, secure, embedded 802.11 b/g device server module).
Matchport NR is a complete device server with the following industry demonstrated features: robust operating system; full-featured network protocol stack; proven, ready-to-use serial-to-Ethernet application; built-in web server for device communication and configuration via a standard browser; Windows-based Deviceinstaller - making configuring one or more units in a subnet quick and easy.
