Europe's largest switch manufacturer, Knitter-Switch, has added to its broad range of high performance dual inline (DIL) switch products designed for use in a wide variety of consumer products where high performance and reliability are key requirements. The DHS900 Series comprises surface-mountable, half-pitch DIP switches that provide the same performance of 2.54mm centreline devices in a package half the size.

With terminals spaced on 1.27mm centrelines, the switches are available in either J-lead or gullwing versions and both types feature recessed actuators and sealed cases.
Both versions are available with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 poles with lengths from 3.58 to 16.28mm and a height off the board of just 2mm.
Mechanical life is a minimum of 1000 operations per pole.
The contacts and terminals are gold over nickel over copper alloy.
DHS900 switches are RoHS compliant and feature a contact rating of 24V DC at 25mA, a maximum contact resistance of 50mohm and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85C.
