Budget switches are big on reliability

A new series of stackable DIP switches boast a long mechanical life of 2000 operations minimum per pole.

A new series of stackable DIP switches has been announced by Knitter Switch. The SBS 5000 series switches are RoHS compliant, lead-free reflow solderable and offer a long mechanical life of 2000 operations minimum per pole. Available with two to 10 poles, the new switches are suitable for a variety of applications such as address setup and parameter settings, where a low-cost reliable switch is required.

The SBS 5000 switches feature lengths of from 5.08 to 25.40mm and incorporate contacts rated at 24V DC/25mA.

Operating temperature range is -55 to +125C.

Knitter Switch DIP switches are available from stock and from a number of distributors throughout Europe.

Samples are usually available on next day delivery.
