Kell's Version 6.0 IT cabinet range incorporates new, more powerful fans that deliver a 50% improvement in air throughput for all IT cabinet models.
In addition, the new fans now have an extended service life in excess of 8 years, making them much more reliable than typical computer room air-conditioning systems.

The enhanced soundproofing of the Version 6.0 also reduces noise by an extra 3dB, and Kell cabinets now reduce noise by at least 18.5dB across the entire audible noise spectrum.
Security door locks are now fitted as standard.
In practical terms, Kell's latest solution is so effective that a typical Kell model 38IT cabinet installation, even in an office that isn't air-conditioned, will support six or more dual processor rack-mount or tower servers (or thermal equivalent) plus peripherals such as UPSs, switches, tape drives etc, and reduce server noise to a level comparable to that of the average office air-conditioning system.
As with all Kell cabinets, the Version 6.0 IT cabinet range comes in a range of styles and sizes designed to blend in with standard office furniture.
Bespoke finishes can be ordered from Kell on request.
