Kaiser Optical Systems has now shipped over two million square centimetres of its volume phase holographic components. These components are used in Kaiser Optical Systems' Raman spectroscopy instrumentation, as well as in gratings supplied for telecommunications, astronomy and ultra-fast laser pulse compression. 'We are clearly a world leader in the manufacture of original volume phase holographic diffraction gratings', says Tim Harrison, Manufacturing Manager for Kaiser Optical Systems.

'But more importantly, our long-term relationships with many customers validate the robustness and high-performance of our holographic grating solutions'.

'Because of our years of experience in producing stable and environmentally hardened products, customers confidently apply our devices in extreme environments such as chemical processing plants and head-up displays for advanced fighter jets'.
