Production Solutions will display new products at the upcoming SMTA Upper Midwest Expo and Tech Forum, to take place on 11 June 2009 at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The Red-E-Set products reduce changeover, improve quality, eliminate component damage and increase revenue once implemented on any screen printer, pick-and-place, chip-shooter or dispensing machine.

In addition to the basic models, the new Red-E-Set SZ autoset provides automatic board-support while the Vacuum Box Red-E-Set is suitable for MPM printers with the vacuum box.

The Red-E-Set high-density units are designed for those applications where the PCB is highly panellized with many cut-outs; the higher density of pins provides the necessary support.

Also on display will be the Red-E-Set LP24, which provides support for boards up to 24in-long while the Red-E-Set HP (High Profile) provides support during the printing and placing stages for those boards with tall components on the underside of the board.

The new Red-E-Set Topside Tooling is the first universal tool of its kind to allow manufacturers to flatten a PCB prior to board-support setup, ensuring total flatness.

Additionally, Red-E-Set Quickset enables users to snap-in the Red-E-Set supports, providing quick and easy mounting.

Red-E-Set autoset is an automated inline system, providing hands-free operation.

The autoset is suitable for those that want tool-less locking of the support tooling and further reduction of changeover and setup time.
