Jobin Yvon has updated its range of holographic and ruled diffraction gratings for telecomms applications which include, WDM multiplexers/demultiplexers, optical spectrum analysers and tuneable lasers. The gratings can be used in Littrow or grazing configuration. For applications using TE or TM polarised light, diffraction efficiency has now been maximised for the specific polarisation and can reach more than 80% in grazing configuration in the L and C band.

In addition our gratings have a very low stray light level, a superior wavefront flatness and a polarisation dependent loss (PDL) optimised for your application.

To meet the telecomms standard environmental specifications the company has developed different solutions and a special durable gold coating which offers a very stable optical component.

The manufacturing process also gives the ability to provide constantly performing gratings batch after batch.
