Power system protection papers wanted
The IET is calling for papers for the 9th International Conference on Developments in Power System Protection
The IET is calling for papers for the 9th International Conference on Developments in Power System Protection, to be held from 17th to 20th March 2008 in Glasgow, UK. Continuing in the tradition of previous conferences, the 9th International Conference on Developments in Power System Protection will provide a forum for the international engineering community to meet and exchange ideas.

Through the presentation of papers, discussions and tutorials, delegates to this conference will gain an up-to-date understanding of recent developments and future trends in the design, application and management of power system protection and control systems.
Engineers from all stages of their career, from recent graduates and research students to senior managers and consultants, are encouraged to attend.
Previous conferences have attracted between 200 and 300 delegates from over 30 countries.
The conference is aimed at engineers involved in the application, ownership, management, design and development of power system protection and control systems.
Submissions are invited from utility, generation, industrial, manufacturing and railway industries, consultants and academia.
All papers will be peer reviewed and accepted papers will be delivered by oral and poster presentations.
The conference will be preceded by a one day tutorial covering topics of relevance to the subject area.
The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday 7th August 2007, and final papers are due by Tuesday 27th November 2007.
