HCS08 emulation comes onboard
A new iSystem iCard for the iC3000/iC4000 series of universal emulators interfaces to the HCS08 via the BDM connection, and supports 5 to 1.8V technology

A new iSystem iCard for the iC3000/iC4000 series of universal emulators, interfaces to the HCS08 via the BDM connection, and supports 5 to 1.8V technology. This new iCard supports the HCS08 at its maximum frequency and debugging is nonintrusive. On-chip breakpoints, access breakpoints and real-time watches are supported as well as low-level and HLL debugging.
High-speed Flash programming is available for internal Flash.
The on-chip trace facilities of the HCS08 family are fully supported and used.
The iCard can be plugged into the compact iC3000 active emulator or the powerful iC4000 emulator.
Standard RS232, LPT (iC4000 only), USB and Ethernet interfaces are available.
iSystem also offers its iOne debugging hardware, which is identical in size to the iC3000 but configured for the HCS08 alone.
All iSystem emulators are driven by the easy-to-use winIdea, an integrated development environment software.
winIdea runs on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP operating systems.
As well as a powerful debugger, winIdea includes a project manager and build manager where all well known compilers can be integrated, allowing the user to write, download, debug and edit their code from a single user's interface.
