Whiting joins in key role
IQC has strengthened its management team with the appointment of John Whiting as General Manager (Managing Director Designate)
Whiting, who has many years of experience within the electronics connectors industry, joins IQC from IMS Connector Systems (UK) - where he spent 7 years as Managing Director. With over 20 years experience within the connector manufacturing and distribution industry he will play a key role in the development of new products and connector technologies plus IQC's move into niche markets.

Whiting joins during a significant period of the company's development.
He considers that over the past two years there have been major changes within the connector supply industry.
"There is an increasing dependence on electronics distribution companies to service the UK electronics market, even more so now that the manufacturing base is transferring to the Far East.
I consider that the expertise within IQC puts them in a strong position to service this market and am delighted to have joined them prior to the commencement of the second phase in their ambitious development plan".
