In2Connect has relocated to larger premises in order to carry an even wider range of D-sub connectors from ITW McMurdo, card-edge connectors from Sullins Electronics, 2mm HM and DIN41612 connectors from ept of Germany; filtered, waterproof IP67 and mixed layout D-subs from Conec and MIL-C circular connectors. As Managing Director Bob Hart explains: 'We offer a very personal supply service to both customers and suppliers alike'. 'Concentrating purely in products and suppliers that we solidly understand helps both ends of the supply chain get what they want, quality products at competitive prices and in the optimum lead time'.
'We base our market offering around the reputation of our brands and our ability to offer customers an individual advisory service unrivalled by our far larger competitors'.
'We employ a mixture of traditional marketing methods; the Internet, advertising, exhibitions (including Nepcon 2006 at the Birmingham NEC, UK from 9th to 11th May, Stand F60), innovative involvement in supply chain and vertical marketing systems and relationship marketing with our customers and suppliers'.
'The ability of the Internet to disseminate technical and design information from our website enables us to run as a small operation but achieve big things'.
In2connect began by working with ITW McMurdo Connectors, a long established British manufacturer of PCB connectors, offering an innovative Internet based relationship with its customers.
For In2Connect, globalisation has meant that ITW McMurdo D-sub connector product is now being actively specified into UK designs and then exported in bulk to contract electronics manufacturers in Asia and Eastern Europe.
