Innoveda has announced plans for its Design Contest 2001. The contest recognises those who have combined Innoveda's leading interconnect solutions with their own innovative designs to create highly complex PCBs. Winning designs will be selected on the basis of complexity, producibility, usability and maximum use of technology, and will be announced at the 2001 Innoveda International Users' Conference this autumn.

Design Contest 2001 continues the tradition of the highly popular printed circuit board design competition sponsored by PADS Software.

Innoveda acquired PADS last year.

The contest provides an opportunity for designers using Innoveda's PowerPCB and PowerBGA solutions to showcase designs, promote their companies' design expertise, and receive software and case prizes.

Designs will be judged by a panel of industry experts.

Designs should be submitted to Innoveda by 15th August 2001.

Contest rules, requirements, entry forms, deadlines and contact information are available from the Innoveda website.
