Alan R Wiggan has joined the Board of Directors at Inventronics. Wiggan is a marketing specialist with more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience at the helm of two nationally recognised marketing and communications companies, Hayhurst Communications and Parallel Strategies. As President and Senior Partner of these firms, Wiggan guided them through extremely profitable growth and orderly succession.

"I am very pleased to welcome Alan Wiggan to Inventronics' board of directors", said Dan Stearne, Inventronics President and CEO.

"His marketing expertise will be a welcome addition as Inventronics continues to diversify beyond its long-time customer base in the telecommunications industry".

Earlier this month, Inventronics announced an agreement with a new US customer that is expected to generate $8 million of additional annual sales.

The customer, which has not been identified for competitive reasons, is from one of five industries - cable television, electronic controls, electric utilities, energy resources and computer servers - that Inventronics has begun targeting to attract additional customers outside the telecommunications sector.

"In only a short time, we have successfully attracted new customers in all five of these targeted industries, and we are confident we will attract many more", Stearne said.

"Wiggan will play an important advisory role in Inventronics' ongoing market diversification and expansion programme".

The Inventronics board is composed of retired Northern Telecom executive Jack Hillier; Kent Jesperson, chairman of La Jolla Resources International; retired 3M executive Gerald Pint; Stearne; and Wiggan.
