Buck regulator has internal compensation
Intersil has a new 2A integrated FET synchronous buck regulator with internal compensation and 100% duty cycle
The EL7532 is a 2A integrated FET synchronous buck regulator with internal compensation and 100% duty cycle. It is the latest addition to Intersil's EL753x family of integrated FET DC/DC regulators with 0.6 to 2A of continuous output currents. This family is ideal for space-limited onboard postregulation for use in applications that require 3.3 or 5V input, USB-powered, single Li-ion battery or multiple NiMH battery.

EL7532 technical features include maximum height 1.1mm 10-pin MSOP, 2A continuous output current (with integrated FETs), 1.5MHz switching frequency, external sync to 12MHz, 100ms power-on-reset output (POR), internally compensated voltage mode controller, up to 94% efficiency, less than 1uA shutdown current, and overcurrent and overtemperature protection.
The EL7532 is available now in production quantities and priced at $2.30 for 1000-unit volume orders.
