Intersil is the first company to deliver new technologies that enable dynamic gamma correction control and user programmability to enhance picture quality in new- and next-generation TFT-LCDs for monitors and TVs. The EL5226 and EL5326 offer 10 and 12 channels, respectively. Each channel is programmable to a 10bit resolution through the I2C interface, which can run up to 400kHz.
Each output features rail-to-rail (within 50mV) capability for full gamma curve generation and can supply up to 30mA continuously, or 120mA peak.
Both the 10-channel EL5226 and the 12-channel EL5326 are available in the 28-pin TSSOP.
The EL5226 is priced at $2.92 in 10,000 unit quantities and the EL5326 at $3.07 in 10,000 unit quantities.
