The op-amps are the latest additions to Intersil's growing family of Elantec operational amplifiers and are tailored for high performance, low power applications in today's general purpose video, communication, instrumentation and industrial systems requiring slew rates up to 500MHz. The fastest devices offer up to 500MHz of gain bandwidth with slew rates up to 600V/us, providing triple the slew rate of any other 500MHz rail-to-rail op amp at 3dB.
Differential phase and differential gain characteristics are also best in class at 0.005 degrees and 0.005%, respectively.
They all operate from a single 5V power supply and are available with or without a fast-acting disable/power down circuit.
The EL8102 and EL8103 devices combine a 3dB bandwidth of 500MHz and slew rates of 600V/us, and operate from a very low 5.6mA supply current.

They also feature inputs that go to 0.1V below the power supply rail.
With 13ns disable and 200ns enable features, the EL8100 and EL8102 are ideally suited for high speed multiplexing applications.
The EL8100 and EL8101 feature a 3dB bandwidth of 200MHz and a slew rate of 200V/us.
They operate from a very low 2mA supply current and feature inputs that goes to 0.1V below the supply rail.
"These are the industry's first products in a complete rail-to-rail family that will include single, dual, triple and quad op amps tailored for a wide range of video and communications applications for our customers", said Sameer Vuyyuru, Director of Marketing for Video and Op Amps for Intersil's Elantec Product Group.
The EL8100 and EL8102 are now available in 8-pin SO and 6-pin SOT-23 packages.
The EL8101 and EL8103 are available in 5-pin SOT-23 packages.
