Available from Impulse, the Aaeon Technology PFM-550S is billed as an ideal replacement for end-of-life modules using non-RoHS-compliant components. The PFM-550S uses the proven long-life 533MHz VIA Mark processor. It includes popular embedded features such as 10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet port, one RS232 port and one RS232/485 port, USB, an SDRAM-SODIMM socket for up to 512Mbyte is a standard feature and PC/104-Plus expansion included.

The PFM-550S supports 36bit TTL and 18/36bit dual LVDS LCD panels, it has a watchdog timer and is lead-free for RoHS compliance.

The PFM-550S features fanless reliability with a standard operating temperature of 0 to +60C, and supports ISA and CFD, WinCE, Linux and WinXPe for embedded OS applications.
