I-Logix was selected for its 2003 release of Rhapsody 5.0, a unique Unified Modelling Language (UML) 2.0 compliant model-driven development (MDD) environment tool for systems engineers and C developers. Previous SD Times 100 winners include IBM, Microsoft and Intel. "Each year, the editors of BZ Media's SD Times 100 look for companies and influencers which set the technical and market leadership for the software development industry", said Alan Zeichick, Editor-in-Chief of SD Times.
"When choosing the 2004 SD Times 100, we carefully considered each organization's offerings and reputation with developers, as well as the attention and conversation we've heard around the company and its products and technologies, as a sign of leadership within the industry".
"We are extremely pleased with the response that Rhapsody 5.0 has received from such resounding industry voices as SD Times and the Embedded Market Forecasters (EMF), who concluded that Rhapsody 5.0 is the best UML 2.0 compliant MDD solution on the market", said Neeraj Chandra, I-Logix Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development.
"This, the second consecutive SD Times 100 Award for I-Logix, reaffirms Rhapsody's position at the top of the marketplace and our ongoing commitment to providing the most productive and innovative tools in the embedded industry".
