New from Inertial Aerosystems, the HMC 1043 is a low-cost high-performance full three-axis magnetic sensor that is ideal where space and weight is at a premium. Housed in a 3 x 1.4mm lead-free package and designed for high-volume magnetometry and magnetic compass applications, it is ideal for use in GPS receivers, robotics, security equipment, mobile phones, disability aids and process monitoring. Using established anisotropic magnetorestive technology it has many advantages over flux-gate magnetic sensors, such as being sensitive to low fields and having low hysteresis.

This innovative product requires only 2V DC and is available in tape and reel packaging for ease of high volume assembly.

The 1043 has a low-noise passive-element design, and is compatible with battery powered operations.

It can be used in strong magnetic field environments and has stray magnetic field compensation, low noise and patented set/reset straps.

This versatile device has applications in the engineering, electronics, manufacturing and processing industries. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK....
