IFR's Le Gall sets sales for Europe
IFR has appointed Philippe Le Gall to the newly created position of European Regional Sales Manager, based in IFR's European headquarters, Stevenage, Herts.

IFR has appointed Philippe Le Gall to the newly created position of European Regional Sales Manager, based in IFR's European headquarters, Stevenage, Herts. The recent appointment follows the consolidation of IFR's Southern and Northern European sales operations into a single division, a move designed to enhance customer satisfaction and solidify its leadership in the wireless test industry. The appointment also reflects the realignment of IFR's sales activities to meet the challenges of changing market dynamics.
IFR is driving its European business forward by focusing on both product and application sales, into identified and segmented target market areas, notably PMR test, cellular test, backbone infrastructure and satellite test, avionics test and military communications test.
IFR's goal is to work with those companies that are themselves leaders in their markets.
Le Gall has been with IFR for 10 years, originally joining Marconi Instruments (later acquired by IFR) as a sales engineer, and later becoming Sales Manager for Instruments and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
For the last three years, prior to relocating to IFR UK, he has held the position of General Manager for IFR International, France and Region Sales manager for Europe South.
Philippe holds a technical degree for RF and Microwave and will report directly to John Bickley, VP of Global Sales.
