At Productronica in Munich, IFR will exhibit a variety of products from its extensive range of test and measurement solutions. The 4220 in-circuit test system (ICT) is designed to be the fastest manufacturing test system on the market and ideally suited to high-volume manufacturing operations where error free throughput is of paramount importance. The system tests a wide variety of printed circuit boards covering applications such as automotive, telecommunications and consumer electronics, amongst others.

Two examples of the 5220 manufacturing defects analyser will be exhibited.

This system provides a high speed manufacturing test capability as a stand-alone tester or mounted within a 19in rack.

IFR's 4800 Series automatic optical inspection (AOI) system is designed to complement IFR's electrical PCB test systems in order to offer even more choice in terms of test strategy, process monitoring and quality assurance.

Each variant of the 4800 range is aimed at a different manufacturing requirement and inspection problem.

The latest development introduces a large dimension backplane capability aimed at the telecommunications market.

Also on show will be IFR's i-Base information management system that has been an integral part of many organisations initiatives to drive stock, WIP and associated costs out of the manufacturing process.

The latest version of the software is i-Base5.
