Masterclasses focus on reliability
The IEEE Reliability and CPMT Society is holding two masterclasses on reliability on 28th February 2005 at the Moller Centre, Cambridge University.

The IEEE Reliability and CPMT Society is holding two masterclasses on reliability on 28th February 2005 at the Moller Centre, Cambridge University. 'Electronics reliability methodology' is an intensive tutorial providing the basis and technical training in reliability over the whole life cycle of electronics products, with particular emphasis on the physics and mechanisms of failure. 'Photonics reliability assurance' is an intensive tutorial following from the previous event, addressing the failure mechanisms of photonics products - both active and passive - and also covering some novel technologies.
Also addressed is the relevance of conventional reliability specifications.
