The IDT LA-1 network search engine (NSE) has been exclusively selected by Netronome Systems for use on the NFE-i8000 network acceleration card. The 75K62134 NSE from IDT has been integrated into Netronome's Open Appliance, which combines software and hardware, to quickly enable content flow analysis, deep packet inspection, security processing and virtual machine technologies for use in network appliances and switches reducing time to market for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) customers.
The Netronome NFE-i8000 acceleration card provides a high performance platform for flow acceleration and flow classification and is an ideal platform for security and network appliance vendors to improve performance while reducing time to market.
The IDT network search engine works synergistically to offload packet classification allowing the NFE-i8000 to deliver 4Gbit/s of flow classification with high-performance encryption in IA/x86-based network and security applications.
Netronome's NFE-i8000 is designed primarily for OEMs, and can be used to increase performance of existing applications or as an easy-to-use development environment enabling users to quickly and efficiently develop high performance networking and security applications.
