Hupfer comes to his new leadership position at Identco with more than 25 years of technological expertise in the fields of converting and coating technologies, pressure adhesives, UV curing inks and coatings as well as in various traditional and digital printing processes. In his distinguished professional career, Hupfer has developed many new products, such as a high-temperature thermal transfer and dot-matrix printable Kapton label stock for circuit board identification, flame retardant ID in aircraft hydraulics, printable label stock for wire ID in mainframe computers, UV-cured optical coatings for cellphone lenses and antiglare coatings for touchscreens in ATMs and voting machines.
