The next Indium Corp Pb-free QuickStart seminar will be held on 27th and 28th July in Ft Lauderdale Florida

The cost for this two-day seminar is $500. The event combines an information-rich two-day series of presentations from the world's leading Pb-free practitioners with a detailed tour of a Motorola Pb-free production line. Having produced over 10,000,000 Pb-free mobile phones without a defect related to soldering, Motorola is the world's leader in high-volume Pb-free electronics manufacturing.

The seminar will provide an opportunity to network with Motorola engineering and manufacturing staff, process experts and materials and equipment experts.

The price includes a complete handbook of all presentations and all meals and refreshments.

According to event organisers at Indium Corp: 'This event is an extraordinary opportunity to experience authentic high-volume Pb-free soldering at a world-class manufacturer'.

'The networking and information are second to none'.

Scheduled to speak are experts from: Indium Corp, Motorola, Enthone, Hewlett Packard, Texas Instruments, Vitronics, KIC, NEMI, Scientific Atlanta and Speedline.

Presenter Marybeth Allen of KIC adds: 'If you're serious about making the transition to lead-free manufacturing, the QuickStart seminar will give you a view into changes required from solder to rework and everything in between'.

'The diverse group of presenters provides comprehensive, objective information covering all the critical, necessary processes that are affected'.
