Lee to deliver lead-free keynote
Alcatel Bell Geel's 2004 technology day will feature Dr Ning-Cheng Lee from Indium Corp as the keynote speaker
Subtitled, "Preparing for RoHS compliancy", the event will feature information on the conversion to Pb-free soldering. Dr Lee, Vice-President of Technology, Indium Corporation of America, will deliver his paper, "Status of lead-free soldering in the electronics industry". Dr Lee will also deliver a second presentation during the conference.
The work is titled, "Understanding the effect of surface finish on lead-free solder joint reliability".
Other speakers are from Alcatel Bell, Alcatel Corporate, AMI Semiconductor, and IMEC.
The event will be held on 10th June 2004 at the Alcatel Bell facility in Geel, Belgium.
