Idec Electronics has added 75 and 120W power supplies to its PS5R 24V DC range. There are now eight models available, ranging from 7.5 to 240W. 5 and 12V DC outputs are available for certain models.

Like the rest of the range the new supplies feature a true universal input (85-264V AC or 105-370V DC) that allows the user to ship their equipment anywhere in the world without the worry of it not matching the country supply.

All power supplies carry the CE mark and meet or exceeds the requirements of the Low Voltage, EMC and Harmonics Directives.

They are also UL, C-UL and TUV approved.

Other features include DIN-rail mounting, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, multiple outputs and IP20 terminals with captive "spring up" screws.
