Ideal Power has recently launched a new range of plug-top power supplies with interchangeable AC input sockets. Their universal input capability enables end users to stock one solution which can then be equipped with either UK, European, American, Australian or South African sockets. This enables companies to tailor their purchasing requirements and cut inventory levels and so reduce stock.
The new adapters have universal input delivering output wattages from 5 to 25W with typical efficiency of 70%.
DC output voltages range from 3.3 to 24V depending on the product chosen and conductive EMI meets CISPR/FCC class B specifications.
The output ripple and noise is typically 1% and operating temperatures range from 0 to 40C the unit also has full worldwide safety approvals.
