Flash modules come with IDE connection

New small-form-factor, low-cost Flash memory modules attach directly to a mainboard IDE connector and provide an ideal memory solution for a wide range of industrial and embedded applications.

Available now from ICP, Afaya Micro Disk Modules are small-form-factor, low-cost Flash memory modules attach directly to the mainboard IDE connector and provide an ideal memory solution for a wide range of industrial and embedded applications. Six versions of the Micro Disk Modules are currently available in sizes of 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512Mbyte, and 1Gbyte. The modules are very light, noiseless, and consume very low power.

They are also suitable for rugged environments and support automatic error correction and retry, and power down commands including auto standby and sleep modes.

They can operate from +5 or +3.3V and support master/slave operation selectable by jumper pin.

At 5V the maximum standby and loading current is 160uA and 150mA, respectively.
