IBT has developed a range of high-integrity valve-regulated lead-acid batteries aimed at the communications sector

The first to be launched is the 12V 100Ah BT100-12FT, it has front-access terminals for ease of installation and maintenance and is in an industry standard package. Other features include: a flame-retardant case, a 10-year design life and terminals with brass inserts for increased conductivity.

The BT100-12FT is available now.

Other family members with capacities of 50, 75, 125 and 150Ah will be added by the end of 2002.
